Identify and inspect the patient\u2019s skin condition. Ensure that the dermal filler is stored at room temperature. For preparation, gently unscrew cap from syringe, and screw the 27G \u00bd\u201d or 25G 1\u201d needle onto the Luer-lock connection of the syringe, turning until it is firmly in place. For the injection, hold the needle at an angle of about 30 to 35 degrees from the surface and inject into the mid to deep dermis. Use minimal pressure for the intradermal injection, using linear threading, serial puncture, cross-hatching, fanning or sandwich injection techniques.
\nFor lip enhancement or restoration, identify the site and the age of the patient to meet their expectations of the treatment. For vermilion border, consider using low viscosity filler to define the Cupid\u2019s bow.
\nIf you prefer to use a cannula, choose one with an inner diameter as big as the supplied needles.
